1. Eligibility
Participants must be Bayocean clients who have completed identity verification (KYC) and are at least 18 years old.
Each natural person may compete under one identity only. Accounts sharing the same ID number, phone number, receiving address or device are treated as one person.
The entry fee is charged from a real trading account held by the participant. Payment from another person's account is not allowed.
Bayocean reserves the right to refuse any registration and to restrict participation from certain countries or regions.
2. Contest accounts
A dedicated demo contest account (virtual funds) is opened for each participant in each tournament. Login and passwords are shown on the "Tournaments" page of the client portal.
Contest accounts are for the participant's personal use only and may not be lent, rented or operated by anyone else.
Expert Advisors / automated trading are disabled on contest accounts by default. Orders may not be placed through any external program, script or API.
After the tournament ends and prizes are paid, contest accounts are zeroed and removed from the trading server once the retention period expires. Results and leaderboards are kept permanently.
3. Trading rules
Permitted: manual trading through the trading terminal (desktop, mobile, web).
Prohibited:
- Expert Advisors, scripts, copy trading or any automated order placement;
- High-frequency trading and latency scalping: repeatedly opening and closing positions held for only seconds, or profiting from quote delays or price anomalies;
- Wash trading: opposite-direction orders in the same symbol at similar times across two or more accounts (including other people's accounts);
- Coordinated trading: one person running the same strategy on several accounts;
- Hedging/locking inside one account (holding buy and sell positions in the same symbol at the same time);
- News-window abuse: concentrating orders around major data releases to capture abnormal moves (judged by the published high-impact calendar events);
- All-in gambling: a single position or combined positions using more than 80% of equity as margin;
- Exceeding the maximum lot size set for the tournament.
The starting capital, bust threshold, minimum volume, allowed symbols, schedule and re-entry rules published for each tournament form part of these rules.
4. Monitoring & determination
Bayocean monitors automatically and records evidence of: login IP and device, datacenter/proxy IPs, geographic jumps, order source, holding time, order frequency, profit distribution, margin usage, equity changes, and multi-account links (ID number, phone, receiving address, entry-fee source, prize destination).
A system flag is not a verdict. Every flag is reviewed by Bayocean staff before any action is taken.
Bayocean may ask a participant for an explanation or supporting documents. Refusal to cooperate is treated as a confirmed violation.
5. Enforcement
Once a violation is confirmed, Bayocean may take one or more of the following actions depending on severity:
- Warning and request to stop;
- Disqualification from the tournament, with results removed from the ranking;
- Forfeiture of prizes; prizes already paid will be clawed back from the participant's Bayocean account;
- Ban from future tournaments.
Where accounts are linked, all linked accounts are treated together.
Decisions are sent through the client-portal notifications. Participants may appeal within 7 days; Bayocean responds within 7 business days. Prize payment is suspended during an appeal.
6. Prizes
Prizes are distributed according to the published payout table and paid to a real trading account held by the participant.
Prizes are paid only after a risk review. Payment is held while any risk flag remains unresolved.
Prizes are not transferable. Prizes from several participants pointing to the same account or identity are treated as a multi-account link under Section 5.
7. General
Tournaments use virtual funds. Results do not represent real trading performance and are not investment advice.
If a tournament is affected by server failure, market data interruption or other events beyond Bayocean's control, Bayocean may pause, postpone, settle early or cancel it. Entry fees for cancelled tournaments are refunded in full.
Bayocean has the final say on the interpretation of these rules. The latest version published in the client portal prevails.
